Safety Awareness For Females

Designed for women only, this course teaches women the principles and strategies for effectively reducing sexual harassment or the likelihood of a physical assault. The principles taught are easy to learn and easily retained. This course is a must for any female (16yoa or older) interested in personal safety. The course is broken into three units.

Unit 1

Victim Prevention

This unit is lecture only. This unit teaches women the principles of safety awareness and prevention by analyzing certain traits within themselves and recognizing the signs that a predator exhibits. Simple preventative actions can keep you out of trouble if you are simply aware and know what to look for.

Unit 2

Physical Harassment Response

This unit is a hands-on class. This unit shows low profile techniques for managing physical harassment in the workplace and/or social functions. Low level techniques that can easily avert an unwanted physical advance are taught with an easily retained method.

Unit 3

Assault Coutermeasures

This unit is a hands-on class. When confronted with criminal assault, the techniques taught in this unit can be used to neutralize the assailant. Among the techniques stressed are striking techniques utilizing the hands, legs and feet, followed by methods of escape and evasion.

This course is lecture only. This course is a MUST for anyone interested in personal safety. Focusing on mental awareness and simple survival techniques built into the human mind, the student will learn how to keep dangerous situations from even occurring. You already possess everything you need to keep yourself safe in today’s violent world. We’ll teach you how to use it!

This course is lecture only for middle school and high school students. Today’s teens are our most valuable asset. But as children, they often lack the skills and knowledge to protect themselves from today’s dangers. Teen’s are bombarded with choices that can alter their future if not handled correctly. If given prevention methods and educated in awareness, teens can make smart choices and stay safe in a dangerous world. Topics covered include: internet safety/internet predators; bullies; abduction prevention; date-rape/dating violence; peer pressure; safety awareness; alcohol and drugs.

This course is lecture only for Parents of middle school and high school students. Studies show that the #1 worry of parents is the safety of their children. Times have changed from when parents themselves were children. Parents need to know and understand the dangers of today in order to better protect their children. Topics include: internet safety and intervention; child abduction prevention; date rape/dating violence awareness; peer pressure for parents; survival awareness; alcohol and drug awareness and prevention.
