Ronda is a certified Peace Officer and mother of three. Ronda is a Ground Avoidance and Ground Escape instructor and specializes in women’s self-defense. She is the co-developer of the Safety Awareness For Females program and instructs that program with Bill. Ronda is the senior instructor and coordinates all Shadow Defense Systems’ programs.
Shadow Defense Systems employs an adjunct staff of seasoned instructors from the law enforcement, special operations, and defensive tactics community. Each instructor is an expert in their field with the knowledge and experience to back it up.

Shadow Defense Systems, LLC was founded in 1999. Its primary focus is to provide safe, realistic, and challenging defensive tactics training to law enforcement personnel. SDS also provides civilian safety and awareness classes to groups and businesses and contracts to provide specialized safety training focused on the customer’s area of concern. SDS also consults with clients on safety and security issues.
Bill is a veteran police officer with 18 years law enforcement experience and has a B.A. in applied science. His areas of expertise include K-9 operations, S.W.A.T., Defensive Tactics, Close Quarters Battle, Team Tactics, and Use of Force. Bill is recognized as a Master Peace Officer and holds three specialized instructor licenses. He founded Shadow Defense Systems in 1999.
